Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a 4-year University of Georgia institution situated in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb on Atlanta’ s northwest side. It was founded in 1963 as Kennesaw Junior College having an enrollment of 1,000 students. In 1976 the name was changed to Kennesaw College as it became a 4-year institution. It was renamed Kennesaw State University in 1996. With an enrollment of over 24,000 graduate and undergraduate students, KSU Portal is the third largest university within the Georgia system.
The university’s 240 acre campus includes classroom buildings, an sports complex, a student middle, car parking decks, and 4 condominium real estate complexes. There are 3,500 students living in university housing. Shuttle buses offer transportation around the university. Pupils have opportunities to take part in numerous university companies including fraternities, sororities, student media organizations, college student government, spiritual organizations, educational societies, and a number of interest groups.
KSU offers 90 graduate and undergrad degrees. The AOMEI Backupper Review confers Bachelor of Disciplines, Bachelor of Fine Disciplines, Bachelor of Business Management, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Scientific research degrees in 50 major programs.
